I'm building a new home. At what point should I contact you about a system installation?

As soon as possible! We work closely with architects, contractors and interior designers, so the earlier we are involved, the earlier your house and system will be ready to enjoy. It is much easier to install a system and hide wires as your home is being built and before walls have been put up.

Do you provide service and support for systems once they are installed? Or is that done through the manufacturers?

Yes. We provide full service and support for our systems. Service is our number one priority at Absolute Sound, and whatever we cannot fix ourselves, we will ship back to manufacturers at no charge (as well as re-install them upon their return) in the unlikely case that something should malfunction.

Can I request a demonstration?

Of course! We highly recommend that potential customers come in to our shop to have private demonstrations of our latest products. It is the perfect way to decide on a system setup and to learn more about the solutions that Absolute Sound can provide.

What is the limit as far as the number of connected rooms in one household?

There really is no limit other than your own imagination! Factors that come into play are: your budget, electrical requirements and the physical size of your house. Other than that, we are very good at adapting to our customers' needs.

What is the difference between LCD and DLP projectors?

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) both have their advantages and disadvantages. Typically, LCD is better for computer presentations, whereas DLP is best suited for home theatre setups.

Which television screen technology is better: LCD or Plasma?

Similar to projectors, LCD and Plasma televisions both have their advantages and disadvantages. Typically, LCD is better for smaller televisions, whereas Plasma is better for larger televisions. However, the two technologies are so good today that it is really necessary to compare on a product by product basis to determine the best choice for your system.
